At M&T Bank Center, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Please review the following guidelines before attending our events to help ensure a smooth and secure experience.
Bag Policy
To maintain a safe and efficient entry process, the following rules apply:
- Allowed bags: Only small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs no larger than 6” x 9”, or clear plastic, PVC, or vinyl bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”.
- Prohibited bags: Backpacks, large totes, duffel bags, and any other oversized bags are not permitted.
- Bag checks: All bags are subject to inspection by security personnel.
Tip: Using a clear bag is highly recommended to help speed up the screening process.
Security Screening
All guests will go through security screening upon entry. This may include bag checks, metal detectors, and/or handheld wands. We appreciate your cooperation in making the event safe for everyone.
Prohibited Items
For everyone’s safety, the following items are not allowed on the premises:
- Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives)
- Outside food or beverages (unless medically necessary)
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Aerosol cans or flammable materials
- Laser pointers, air horns, or disruptive noisemakers
- Professional camera equipment (unless approved in advance)
- Any item deemed unsafe or disruptive by event staff
- Off-duty law enforcement officers – regardless of credentials – are prohibited from bringing any weapons into the facility, and no on-site storage is provided, meaning entry will be denied if such items are present. Exceptions apply only to authorized on-duty officers assigned to the event, and violations may result in denial of entry, removal, or further action by venue management.
Re-entry Policy
Re-entry is not allowed unless it is specified for a particular event. Please plan accordingly.
